This is because of the adhesive you use along with different factors such as temperature, humidity etc requiring you to wait for a period of at least 60 minutes. The more special type of adhesive you use, longer the duration you should wait.
  2. Wait for the Tape to Dry – Many of us use the tape that comes with the new windshield. However, it is imperative to wait for a period of at least a minimum of 24hours allowing it to dry. However, rain may play a role or else allowing the tape to dry will help the windshield to stay firmer.
  3. Wait for Car Wash –We all know that high water pressure is used to remove dirt, mud etc that help us to keep our car clean. However, you may want to avoid getting the windshield clean due to newer replacement. If you still wish to get your car washed, then you must clean the windshield by the hand to keep the windshield secured.
